I swear, I'm not a bandwagon person. Ask anyone. If anything, I'm riding the anti-bandwagon... which actually sucks; I despise people who decide to hate on something just because it's "in" to do so. Honestly though, I didn't start a blog just because several folks I know started them. It might be that Facebook doesn't really have blogs, and that MySpace burned me out.
For the record, this blog's title, "Bested, But Not Beaten," is the English translation of my pseudonym here. Someone very dear to me recently got me a leather bracelet with the word "Fudoshin" scribed onto it, and I was elated to discover that it didn't disappear with a lot of other sentimental items in a recent car break-in. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something...
Why use a pseudonym? I don't know. I'm not entirely convinced it's necessary, and at some point I may decide to use my real name. After all, it's hard to talk about real life without bringing up real people, places, and things.
Anyway, enjoy. Or don't. There will be plenty more to come.
